Alison Taylor, OTR/L, CHT, CKTI, NDT

graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 1990, from Sydney University, Australia. She has worked in and out of the US for over 34 years and obtained her CHT in 2001. Since that time Alison has presented at 7 ASHT Conferences, multiple state ASHT and OT conferences, and special interest group meetings in GA, IL, NH, SC, TX and LA. She was an invited speaker for the Asia Pacific Hand Surgery and Hand Therapy conference in Melbourne, Australia in 2020, as well as the IFSSH/ISFHT/EFSHT, Virtual in 2020; live in London 2022, and Washington DC in 2024. Alison was the invited Keynote speaker for the 2023 Asia Pacific Hand Surgery and Therapy Conference Singapore, Malaysia. She has taught her Treating without Pain courses throughout the United Stares, internationally in 8 countries, as well as in a hybrid online lecture series format.

She became a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor in 2011 and has been a guest lecturer for the OT programs at TWU, LSU and Sydney University in Australia. Alison’s publications include “The Forgotten Radial Nerve: A conceptual framework for treatment of lateral elbow pain” published in Journal of Hand Therapy in 2021. She is currently developing protocols for elbow fractures, lateral and medial epicondylitis, and radial nerve impairment.
